By the Sea

 

Just photographed a cottage by the sea, on the south-east coast of Norway.

The holiday home of cool, is owned by Hanna L. N. M,  an  interior designer who seems to be have been born  with a certain cosmopolitan flair..  Still, her attitude is so gracefully laid back when it comes to her own rooms..

Last weekend we had a major celebration at our house. On this occasion my youngest daughter was given the most adorable quilt. Handmade it is, by Hanne Gundersen, a photographer and artist based here in Oslo.

Favourite magazines

The British publication Livingetcis a great source of inspiration for my  commercial interior photography. They have a daring enough picture editor.

This image of a girl's bedroom, I  made for their March issue- 'decorating with black' which is just out in the shops. Anna lives here.

Other favourites are World of Interiors, Australian Vogue Living and Casa Vogue. A fab scandinavian one, if you can find it, -is NYTT ROOM..

Last week I went on a trip to the UK. 
In Oxford, I found this glorious shop called liscious on Walton street in the Jericho area.

I have decided to sell my apartment here in Oslo. Today I have been tidying up the whole place and  photographed it for the estate agent (quite different from photographing for the magazines I must say..) to use in the spec-sheets. So if any of you are looking for a new home, this one has 5 small, but lovely rooms and two balconies. It is situated near St. Hanshaugen and the city.

Charlotte Høyem's studio

In the talented norwegian designer/artist  Charlotte Høyem's studio - Berlin 2007.

Published in the norwegian Elle as a part of a Berlin 'chic' travel guide.

     Charlotte has studied under Wivienne Westwood and worked in Paris for the brand Chloe .

     Now she has her own line of very stylish womens' dresses, blouses etc. She lives and works in Berlin.

Over the summer,- my boyfriend and I drove across the United States for about three weeks. Holiday-work and fun. 

We came across this amazing place in Buffalo(Wyoming), The Occidental Hotel,-which used to be an old brothel in the very wild west. Shown here are a couple of snap shots from one of the guest rooms.

I think I will get back to this one when I've gone through the rest of the pictures.
